Manchester International Airport Or also Known as Ring way Is the 3rd busiest Airport In the United Kingdom With Lots of UK Charter Airlines Traveling to and From. Manchester Airport Has 2 Runways Runway 1 which is (23R / 05L) and Runway 2 which is (23L / 05R) When The Runways are 23R / L operations 23R (Runway 1) Is usually used for Arrivals whilst 23L (Runway 2) Is used for Departures Bearing in mind that duel Runway operation are from 6:00 am until 10:30am Then from 16:30pm-20:00pm. From 10:30am-16:30pm and 20:00pm-6:00am Manchester Only has A single Runway Operation Which is Runway 1 (23R). If the Wind Is blowing from The north then 05L / R will be in operation. If this is the case 05R (Runway 2) Is used for arrivals and 05L (Runway 1) Is used for departures. Again Duel runway operations are only used in specific times if its single runway operations then Runway 1 (05L) Will be the runway in operation. From the 24th February - Unknown :

Southside Mounds (23L End)The 23L Area Mounds are Fantastic For The early Morning Departures On Runway 2 (23L) But bear in mind that The runway is only in operation from Around 5am Until 10:30am Then its Only 1 runway Operations But 23L Re Opens about 4:30 Pm Apart From Sundays Due to the Noise curfew. But this Spot Gives great Photos Especially Heavey Aircraft
